5784/2023 High Holy Days

In keeping with Bet Am Shalom tradition we look forward to welcoming our member families, friends, and the greater community to our High Holy Day services this year in our open tent, and virtually. We encourage anyone who is seeking a spiritual home for the Days of Awe to join us.  

Registration is requested for:

  • Guests (Members may register for guests in their group)
  • Anyone attending Children’s Programming and/or Shorashim
    • Children’s Programming: 10:30AM-12PM on Rosh Hashanah Days 1 & 2 and 10:30AM-12:30PM Yom Kippur- Holiday appropriate arts and crafts, games, and quiet spaces for reading for any student in Grades K-6. Please note: all children must be dropped off and picked up by a parent/guardian.
    • Shorashim: 10:45-11:15AM on Rosh Hashanah Day 2- A special Rosh Hashanah themed circle time for children ages 0-5 and their parents, grandparents, and caregivers with music and movement to celebrate the birthday of the world.

Members who are none of the above do NOT need to register.

DONATION INFORMATION

Our services are free and open to members and non-members. While we never charge for High Holy Day services, if you are able to help us sustain our in-person and virtual “open tent,” contributions are greatly appreciated.

Below are donation guidelines we suggest for our guests. If you have capacity for more giving, we are grateful for your generosity.  If you are unable to meet these guidelines, we ask that you give what you can and know we welcome you wholeheartedly.

  • $360/person for all Days of Awe Services

  • $180/person for Rosh Hashanah Day 1 & 2

  • $180/person for Kol Nidrey & Yom Kippur 

If you become a member of Bet Am Shalom during this year, your donation will be applied toward your dues.
